The Electoral College made sense when candidates had to campaign in person and not everyone had access to news. That era ended about a century ago. Today it means presidential races are decided by a handful of swing states while the rest of the country watches. You shouldn't be able to win the presidency on 22% of the popular vote.
Candidates should be chosen by voters, not by states, and voters in US territories should get a say too. The fix: eliminate the College and move to a national popular vote. Every vote, from every state and territory, counts equally.
It's not a radical idea. It's how every other elected office in the country works.
