National Vaccination Day

← Back to The Platform

Annual vaccinations prevent disease, reduce hospitalizations, and save money. The barrier isn't access for most Americans. It's friction. A National Vaccination Day gives every American a paid day to go get their annual shots without having to schedule around work, childcare, or a three-week wait for an appointment.

The logistics are real: staggered rollout by timezone or region to manage clinic capacity, coordination with pharmacies and healthcare providers. None of this requires new medical infrastructure. It requires treating preventive care as a national priority worth one day on the calendar.

The cost of vaccination is orders of magnitude lower than the cost of the hospitalizations it prevents. This is not a complicated calculation.
